Faces Places and Things > Maple Valley Days Carnival 2008: This shot was done with a slow shutter (drag) on purpose. Why, well... shooting rides like this with a fast shutter never really gives you the feel for the ride. So, I sat out on purpose to expose these with motion in mind. The goal was to capture enough detail so that the image was clear yet the motion was shown. I had several that turned out, I liked the colors in this one the best. ============================================= Taken with: ============================================= Camera: Nikon D300 Lens: Nikkor 28-70 f2.8 IF-ESED Lens Focal Length: 65mm F Stop: f/22 Shutter: 1/5 Hand Held (yes on purpose) ISO: 250 -1 ============================================= Post Production was done in CS3 and included: ============================================= Levels Contrast Brightness NO FILTERS were applied to this image. A slow shutter was used on purpose for the motion effect.
